SCHNEIDER’S DAIRY IS SQF AND HACCP CERTIFIED

WHAT IS SQF AND HACCP AND WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

IT MEANS SCHNEIDER’S DAIRY HAS THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF PRODUCTS!

Schneider’s Dairy is SQF level 3 certified.  This is the highest level of SQF certification.  The SQF Program (Safe Quality Food) involves a rigorous system of interrelated elements that combine all aspects of our products to address food safety risks and to provide safe products documenting every step along the way making sure our products are the highest quality.  Our Schneider’s Dairy logo states “Supreme Dairy” and it is documented through our SQF and HACCP Programs that they truly are!

The core of the SQF program is our HACCP Program (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). This is a management system in which food safety is addressed through analysis and control of biological, chemical and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement, and handling to manufacturing, distribution, and consumption of the finished product.

Both the SQF and HACCP certifications include programs, plans, policies, procedures, practices, processes, goals, objectives, methods, controls, roles, responsibilities, documents, records, and resources.  The effectiveness of our programs continually improves through management reviews, internal audits of our facility, corrective actions, and system updates.  All of our processes are verified and validated daily by the Schneider’s Dairy HACCP team.

Schneider’s Dairy is closely monitored by the two different certifying bodies one is SQF and the other is HACCP. Through intense audits performed at the plant by outside certifying bodies verify and certify that our plant is in compliance with their strict standards.

Schneider’s Dairy was one of the first plants in Pennsylvania to be both HACCP and SQF certified and asked by anyone in the industry, that was not an easy task.  There are not a lot of dairies that are BOTH SQF and HACCP certified.
